Tuesday morning forecast – Dec. 31st

The system that brought rain and snow to our area has moved further south. With mainly clear skies expected from the Central Coast to the South Coast for Tuesday. Daytime highs will warm slightly and will be close to average with the coasts and valleys in the mid to upper 60s.

A Wind Advisory will remain in effect for Ventura County until Tuesday at 3 PM. With moderate to strong Santa Ana winds in the forecast. North to northeast wind will range from 20-30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. For the Central Coast wind will be breezy with gusts up to 20 mph.

Dangerous rip currents are likely for San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura County. With a High Surf Advisory in effect until Friday with high tides up to 14 feet.
