Thursday morning forecast – Dec. 12th

A warming trend continues for Thursday with above average temperatures. Expect less cloud coverage and more sunshine with relatively dry conditions. Daytime highs along the coast will be in the upper 60s to low 70s. Valleys and Foothills will be in the mid to upper 60s.

Breezy conditions will also continue for the Central Coast and San Luis Obispo County until early next week. With a High Surf Advisory in effect until Monday at Noon. This means San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura County can expect large waves ranging 6-10 feet along with dangerous high rip currents.

Looking ahead, a ridge of high pressure will break with cooler temps for the weekend. A chance for rain and snow could be expected for the higher elevations with the lower elevations staying dry.
