Thursday morning forecast, Nov. 14th

Mainly cloudy skies and cooler temps can be expected for Thursday. This is due to an area of low pressure centered off the California coast. Daytime highs along the coast in the upper 60s to low 70s. With valleys in the low to mid 70s.

Looking ahead, a ridge of high pressure will build for Friday with warmer temps and less clouds. Winds could be breezy for the Central Coast with NW at 5-15 mph and gusts up to 25 mph. A High Surf Advisory will be in effect Friday at 3 PM until Sunday morning for the Central Coast. This is due to high rip current with increasing risk for ocean drowning.

With high pressure building for the weekend. Saturday and Sunday will be warm with above average conditions and mostly sunny skies.
