Friday morning forecast – Nov. 8th

A marine layer dominated for this work week with morning fog and afternoon sunshine. The weather pattern will change for Friday afternoon as a ridge of high pressure will build and dominate the region. This will allow for temps to warm up significantly. Daytime highs along the coast in the upper 70s to low 80s and valleys in the upper 80s to 90s.

Looking ahead, the start to the weekend will bring above average temps with lots of sunshine. Expect a weak Santa Ana wind event for portions of Ventura County, NE winds at 5-15 mph and gusts up to 20 mph. For Sunday temps will cool slightly but still remain seasonably warm.

Veteran's Day should be fairly nice as we will continue to have a quiet weather pattern. With lots of sunshine, warm temps and relatively dry conditions.
