Tuesday morning forecast September 22nd

Happy first day of Fall! A nice start into the season with mild to warm temperatures on tap. Expect little change into Tuesday with morning fog, clearing away to afternoon sunshine. Some changes arrive Wednesday as a modest warming trend will begin and follow into Thursday. Daytime highs will remain warm and dry through the weekend.

As an upper high arrives on Wednesday from the southwest the weather pattern will shift. Offshore trends will be followed from the north and the east allowing for clear skies. While the south coast will likely follow an onshore trend with some morning clouds. This will bring further warming with almost all areas rising 2 to 5 degrees. While the Central Coast will rise an additional 4 to 8 degrees.

Thursday temperatures will remain warm but we could have some minor cooling. As a trough arrives over the Pacific Northwest this will push the ridge of high pressure to the east. Allowing temperatures to cool about 2 to 3 degrees. The weather pattern will then remain warm and dry through the weekend.
