Wednesday morning forecast – Feb. 26th

Due to a ridge of high pressure and gusty offshore winds, temps will be very warm with lots of sunshine. A Wind Advisory remains in effect for Ventura County until 3 PM with NE wind ranging from 20-30 mph and gusts up to 45 mph. Daytime highs along the coast and valleys likely to be above average in the upper 70s to 80s.

As temperatures warm, conditions could possibly reach record highs through Thursday. An increase in cloud coverage will arrive Thursday night and into Friday with slightly cooler temps. Daytime highs will still remain above average for many areas as we wrap up the work week.

Mainly cloudy skies could be expected for the weekend with the next chance for rain on Sunday. The system is not expected to be strong but we will be monitoring the latest at the First Alert Weather center.
