St. Joseph sweeps Mission Prep in boys and girls basketball

ORCUTT, Calif. - There is no doubt who is the King of the Mountain League in both girls and boys basketball.

The St. Joseph Knights scored convincing wins over visiting Mission Prep as both the girls and boys stay undefeated in league.

The girls celebrated Senior Night with a lopsided 73-25 win over the Royals to move to 12-0 in league and 23-3 overall.

The boys raced out to a 24-8 lead after one quarter against Mission Prep and won 86-69.

The Knights are 12-0 in league and 21-5 for the season.

The Royals made a run in the second quarter and pulled within 7 late but trailed 41-28 at the break.
