Dos Pueblos pulls away from San Marcos to win dual wrestling meet

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - With his team down 21-12 Dos Pueblos wrestler Cody Pearce changed the momentum with a 12-5 victory over Jacob Dominguez in the 120-pound division.

Both wrestlers are defending Channel League champions and the win by Pearce sparked the Chargers the rest of the way as they defeated the Royals 45-26.

The next two matches after Pearce's win were decided by pins, both by DP.

Ryan Risdall and Shaun Vague scored pins in the 126 pound and 132 pound division respectively for DP.
