SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - San Marcos raced out to a 10-0 lead and the Royals led wire-to-wire, beating Dos Pueblos 48-39 in a Channel League clash in girls basketball.

Michelle Arellanes scored a team-high 11 points while Mia Martinez-Tomatis added 10 points as the Royals improve to 2-1 in league.

Justine Katz scored a game-high 17 points while freshman Carly Letendre added 10 points for the Chargers.
