GOLETA, Calif. - High school girls volleyball won't become an official CIF sport in the 2021-2022 school year but that didn't stop some top action between San Marcos and Dos Pueblos.

In a match-up of NCAA Division 1 talent, the Dos Pueblos team of Portia Sherman and Chloe Hoffman defeated the Royals top-team of Madison Oriskovich and Taylor Wilson.

The junior Sherman has committed to the University of Hawaii while Oriskovich and Wilson signed with Pepperdine and Stanford respectively.

Hoffman has not made an official college choice as of yet.
