Dons beat Royals in girls golf but San Marcos boys return favor and knock off Santa Barbara

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - It was a mixed bag for the Santa Barbara and San Marcos golf teams.

In girls golf the Santa Barbara Dons defeated the Royals 238-262.

Lizzie Goss fired a 40 while Melia Haller shot a 42.

In boys golf San Marcos prevailed over the Dons 390-409.

The medalist was Leo Metzger who shot a 69 for the Royals.
