SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - It was fitting on Senior Night that a pair of San Marcos High School seniors would lead the team over Santa Ynez to clinch at least a share of the Channel League boys basketball title.

Royals win on Senior Night

Seniors Max Sheldon and John Connolly scored 14 and 12 points respectively as the Royals won 68-51 to move to 8-0 in league.

They lead Cabrillo by two games and each team has 2 games left.

Junior Shakir Ahmad added 9 points for the winning Royals.
