Salute to Seniors: Ventura HS volleyball player Nathan Johnston

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Nathan Johnston was just seven games into his senior boys volleyball season at Ventura High School when it all ended too soon for him.

After helping the Cougars to a CIF playoff appearance in 2019, now he was the lone captain in 2020.

But Covid-19 ended the high school spring season and his volleyball career.

Johnston was All-Honorable Mention in the Pacific View League in 2019.

He also played varsity basketball for the Cougars and averaged almost 11 points per game during his senior season.
