Ajay Mitchell hits game-winner with 1.9 seconds left to lift UCSB past Hawaii 65-64.

HONOLULU, Hawaii. - Ajay Mitchell saved his best for last again.

The sophomore guard banked in an off-balance floater from the right side with 1.9 seconds left to give UCSB a 65-64 win over the Rainbow Warriors.

Mitchell finished with a game-high 24 points as the Big West-leading Gauchos improved to 8-1 in league and 17-3 for the season.

Mitchell was the Big West Freshman of the Year last season earning a reputation for hitting big shots in crunch time.
