Jaden Joseph Pullen of Ojai Convicted of 2018 Sexual Assault of Two People

VENTURA, Calif. (KEYT) – Jaden Joseph Pullen of Ojai pled guilty to five sexual assault-related felonies in connection with a 2018 incident that included two survivors he knew before the attack.

According to the Ventura County District Attorney's Office, Pullen changed his original plea to guilty for the following charges:

• Two Counts of PC 261(a)(c)–Forcible Rape
• PC 287(c)(2)(C)–Forcible Oral Copulation on a Minor Over the Age of 14
• PC 288a(b)(1)–Oral Copulation of a Person Under the Age of 18
• PC 261.5(c)–Unlawful Sexual Intercourse

In 2018, Pullen sexually assaulted two people he knew, including one who shared a home with him in Ojai, shared the Ventura County District Attorney's Office.

Both survivors came forward in 2020 after Pullen was convicted of forcible rape and sodomy by force in a separate case involving a different survivor explained the local prosecutor's office.

Pullen is currently scheduled to be sentenced for his latest conviction on Nov. 16 of this year and he faces up to 27 years and four months in state prison noted the Ventura County District Attorney's Office.

"Though the victims still live with the trauma of what the defendant did to them, his guilty plea
today will at least spare them from having to relive the assaults on the stand," stated Senior Deputy District Attorney Twyla Atmore who prosecuted the case.
