Marc Blumberg Arrested for Lewd Acts on a Child While Operating Moorpark Equestrian Facility; Additional Survivors Expected

VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. (KEYT) – Marc Blumberg, 64, of Simi Valley was arrested for lewd acts on a child under the age of 14 and investigators believed additional survivors may still come forward.

In April 2025, the Thousand Oaks Police Department received a report of a sexual assault in October 2024, at MT Performance Horses & Cattle Company in Moorpark stated a press release from the Ventura County Sheriff's Office.

According to the Ventura County Sheriff's Office, the girl shared that 64-year-old Marc Blumberg had sexually battered her while she was at the Moorpark-based ranch for equestrian training.

Detectives conducted an extensive investigation into the allegations and multiple witnesses came forward reporting similar interactions with Blumberg at MT Performance Horses & Cattle Company noted the local sheriff's office.

On July 23, detectives arrested Blumberg and a residential search warrant conducted at his Simi Valley home resulted in the discovery of evidence that he had illegally transferred a firearm shared the Ventura County Sheriff's Office.
