Fourth of July celebrations kick off with parade in the Channel Islands Harbor

OXNARD, Calif.-Hours before the annual Fireworks by Sea Fourth of July kicked off with parades in and around the Channel Islands Harbor.

People enjoyed a parade full of decorated golf carts and bike riders in the morning and a boat parade in the afternoon.

People stayed in the harbor to watch the fireworks set off at Naval Base Ventura County in Port Hueneme.
