Two injured after two-vehicle crash near intersection of Highway 1 and Brown Road

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. (KEYT) – One person was transported with major injuries after a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of Highway 1 and Brown Road, south of Guadalupe, Friday morning.

Another person had minor injuries after the collision and both were transported to Marian Regional Medical Center noted the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.

According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the person with major injuries required the assistance of first responders to get out of their damaged vehicle at the scene.

The roadway remains open, but drivers are asked to use caution in the area as responders work the scene added the local fire response agency.

The exact cause of the collision remains under investigation shared the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
