Woman dies after single-vehicle crash on Figueroa Mountain Road late Saturday evening

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. (KEYT) – A female driver died after rolling a Mazda CX-5 down an embankment off Figueroa Mountain Road late Saturday evening.

Her identity is pending notification of her next of kin shared the California Highway Patrol-Buellton Area.

On April 11, around 11:23 p.m., dispatchers received a crash notification on Figueroa Mountain Road and officers were sent to the scene stated a press release Monday from the California Highway Patrol-Buellton Area (CHP).

Arriving officers spotted a Mazda CX-5 on its wheels and down an embankment on the westside of Figueroa Mountain Road noted the CHP.

According to the CHP, a single female occupant was located inside of the vehicle and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
