One woman transported with major injuries following Monday morning traffic collision

LOS ALAMOS, Calif. – First responders extracted the driver of a Honda sedan with major injuries following a traffic collision with a semi-truck hauling gas southbound on Highway 101 near Alisos Canyon Road Monday morning.

According to Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the female driver was transported by ambulance to Marian Medical Center and the driver of the gas-hauling semi-truck was not injured.

The contents of the damaged semi-truck were transferred to a second tanker detail Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
