Good Samaritan Shelter hosted holiday toy drive for kids in need

SANTA MARIA, Calif.- Good Samaritan Shelter held its second annual toy drive to help benefit the children in need.

Good Samaritan said this year they have even more toys than last year for the kids.

They also have drop off barrels in all Starbucks locations in Santa Maria, Orcutt and Lompoc they’ll be collecting those toy barrels three days before Christmas.

Good Samaritan Shelter says they are still looking for things for the teenager and preteens.

People that donated and say something like this is really important for the kids. 

"Its just the time of giving. And if I'm giving my family some gifts and I'm a little bit fortunate to be able to do this or have extra income to do it, then I'll be more than happy to help out" said Sabrina Rodriguez, Santa Maria resident.
