Santa Barbara Police Investigate Suspicious Death on East Beach

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (KEYT) – Santa Barbara Police are investigating a suspicious May 8th death after they found a woman unresponsive, lying on the sand on the beach near Cabrillo Blvd.

The woman has been identified 46-year-old Vesna Prepolec, was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, and investigators are now asking the public for any information.

Those with information related to Vesna Prepolec and witnessed anything on East Beach on May 8th is asked to contact Detective Baca at 805-897-2346.
