Fire crews at garage fire on Shoreline Drive in Santa Barbara Wednesday

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (KEYT) – Firefighters responded to a garage fire in the 1500 block of Shoreline Drive Wednesday.

No injuries were reported from the scene and the home was empty at the time noted the Santa Barbara City Fire Department.

According to the Santa Barbara City Fire Department, the flames were limited to the home's garage and investigators are trying to determine the exact cause.

Arriving firefighters spotted light smoke coming from the garage, forced entry, and were able to quickly extinguish the fire before there was notable spread to the residence detailed the local fire department.
