Motorcyclist transported with major injuries after crash with car on Hollister Avenue Monday

GOLETA, Calif. (KEYT) – A motorcyclist suffered major injuries after a collision with a car at the intersection of Hollister Avenue and Coromar Drive Monday.

The motorcyclist was transported to Cottage Hospital by ground ambulance for further medical treatment and the other involved driver was uninjured detailed the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.

The collision closed all westbound lanes and one eastbound lane of Hollister Avenue from Los Carneros to Storke Road during an investigation of the incident noted the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office.

Emergency responders were first called to the scene at 4:44 p.m. Monday added the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
