UC Santa Barbara Police Department arrested 20-year-old Jackson Kyle Jue of Isla Vista late Thursday in connection to the shooting and robberies. Jue was arrested in Concord, CA for attempted homicide, robbery, and assault.
Witnesses in the area said they heard multiple gunshots and saw a victim transported on a stretcher.
Maddie Couples said, "there was, like, ten cop cars outside. Yeah, it was a lot of action. I grew up in a really safeish town, so I've never experienced this before, so it was scary."

A UCSB statement said, "The arrest was a result of a collaboration between the UC Santa Barbara Police Department, the UC Berkeley Police Department, the City of Concord Police Department, and the US Marshals Fugitive Apprehension Task Force."
