Prep Roundup: Girls volleyball and flag football

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - San Marcos girls volleyball lost a competitive four-set Channel League match to Oxnard.

The Royals, who had just beat Oxnard recently in a tournament, fell 18-25, 25-18, 23-25, 22-25.

Channel League-leading Santa Barbara outlasted Buena in five sets 20-25, 29-27,25-16,18-25,15-12.

Dos Pueblos swept Rio Mesa.

Girls flag football San Marcos jumped out to an 18-0 lead at halftime against Bishop Diego and won 18-13.
