Man in critical condition from gunshot wound following Monday night Santa Barbara police response

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. – Santa Barbara Police responded to initial calls of a man found bleeding in the 1200 block of San Pascual Street around 7:30 p.m. Monday night.

According to the Santa Barbara Police Department the man was transported to Cottage Hospital for a single gunshot wound to his lower extremity and remains in critical condition.

SBPD is actively investigating the isolated incident.
