Santa Barbara 5K Run raises awareness for breast, ovarian, and prostate cancer

SANTA BARBARA, Calif.- The second annual Cheryl Diamond 5K Cancer Run kicked off Sunday at Leadbetter Beach in Downtown Santa Barbara.

The event is focused on bringing awareness to breast, ovarian, and prostate cancer and raising money for research and tools to benefit those at high risk for those cancers.

Proceeds benefit the Santa Barbara Resource Center and Rabin Medical Center’s BRCA Multidisciplinary Clinic.
