SBC Firefighters rescue dog trapped on cliff

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif.– Santa Barbara County Fire Department rescued and reunited a dog trapped on a cliffside near Mockingbird Lane and Calle Las Brisas with its owner.

The dog was trapped about 75 feet down an 150-foot cliffside. SBC Firefighters set up a rope system to lower the dog onto the beach below and reunited with their owner who was awaiting topside.

The dog was lowered safely and without injury.
