Santa Barbara Police Department investigates active antisemitism leaflets distributed across the Mesa

KEYT

SANTA BARBARA, Calif.– Santa Barbara Police are seeking the public's help and security footage in an investigation into anti-semitic leaflets that were distributed throughout the Mesa Sunday night.

Local law enforcement reports flyers in clear plastic sandwich bags detailing anti-jewish propaganda were left in front yards and driveways in Santa Barbara. SB Police say the incident may be connected to the same pattern of events seen in other cities across the country.

Anyone with information about the flyers or in possession surveillance footage of distribution in their neighborhood is encouraged to call or email Lt. Baker, Santa Barbara Police Department Investigative Division.

The incident occurred on the first day of Hannukkah with many residents alerting the police to the dangerous materials.
