Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department identifies Montecito hit and run victim
SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. – The Santa Barbara Sherriff's Department revealed that 32-year-old Blanca Aguilera from Oxnard was the victim involved in a hit-and-run homicide in Montecito on Friday.
The Coroner’s Bureau is releasing the name of the decent victim in this case: 32-year-old Blanca Aguilera (aka Espinoza) from Oxnard. The suspect remains outstanding and investigation is ongoing.

The woman died from her injuries at the hospital around 7:45 p.m. on Thursday evening, according to SBSO.
The car that struck the woman had fled the area before law enforcement arrived, but detectives said that the driver and the victim were known to each other.
The sheriff's department said the suspect has not been arrested, meanwhile, the investigation is still ongoing.
