Trombone player creates his own quarantine quartet
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Eric Heidner shared his quarantine quartet arrangement of Charles Trenet's "Beyond the Sea" or "La Mer" on the Santa Barbara Trombone Society's Facebook page over the weekend.
Heidner also played the The Mamas and Papas hit "Monday, Monday" earlier this month.
Heider is the self-proclaimed Band Geek-in-Chief at Santa Barbara City College.
He also judges the high school marching bands during holiday parades and can't wait for them to make a comeback when the coronaviris is no longer a threat.
