Atascadero Man Arrested for Felony Sex Crimes Involving A Child Tuesday

ATASCADERO, Calif. (KEYT) – A 30-year-old man was arrested Tuesday for contacting a minor for sex, sending obscene material to a child with sexual intent, and possession of obscene material.

All three charges are felony-level offenses noted the Atascadero Police Department in a press release.

On Sep. 15, detectives executed an arrest warrant for the 30-year-old in the 9300 block of Rivera Lane in Atascadero and he was taken into custody without incident detailed the local law enforcement agency.

According to Atascadero Police, the 30-year-old was taken to the San Luis Obispo County Jail and his bail has been set at $50,000.

Detectives continue to investigate the case, but at this point, there is no evidence of additional survivors shared the Atascadero Police Department with Your News Channel.
