SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. - Firefighters rescued a climber who got stuck on a cliff near Ragged Point Monday afternoon.

CAL FIRE San Luis Obispo was called to an area along Highway 1 around 1:30 p.m.

Firefighters said a hiker was stuck on a cliff.

CAL FIRE tweeted around 4:15 p.m. saying crews were able to use a basket to rescue the climber, who was not injured.

CAL FIRE, Cambria Ambulance Paramedics and the CHP assisted in the rescue.

The CHP's helicopter was used to carry the climber to safety.
