Crews rescue man on Arlington Peak trail via helicopter Sunday afternoon

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Santa Barbara County Fire Department crews helped a man who fell off a trail at Arlington Peak at 1:43 p.m. Sunday via helicopter.

The man was unable to climb back onto the trail and a bystander called 911 after he yelled for help, according to the SBCFD.

A helicopter helped the man to Santa Barbara Airport with minor scrapes, but he refused hospital transport before being released.
