Holiday shop opens in Paseo Nuevo with multiple vendors and unique gifts

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - A new stop for shoppers has opened in Santa Barbara's Paseo Nuevo mall. Nine vendors are in one location with a variety of new and handmade items for sale.

This year the Holiday Shop is open, just in a few steps from the old Macy's location and across from Victoria Secret. The mall is not offering a larger Night Market as it had in 2018.

The store opened Friday and will close December 31.

It offers clothing from Mely's, a local westside store specializing in seasonal and festive outfits for men, women and children. Shoppers will also find handmade embroidered dresses from Elena Hernandez, Children's shoes from Lil' Stompers, Paparazzi jewelry from Erika Gutierrez, and ocean jewelry from Janey Cinzori.

Many other specialty items are on display in the large shopping space.

 Paseo Nuevo also announced new stores and family friendly community events for the holiday season.  That includes the evening snow event, Santa Claus visits, live entertainment and  a gift wrapping station.
