Moon Jellyfish drift into Channel Islands Harbor

OXNARD, Calif. (KEYT) Translucent Moon jellyfish are being spotted in a local harbor.

They can easily be seen by boat docks in the Channel Islands Harbor.

It is not the first time they have been in the harbor but this batch may have drifted into the harbor due to warm water.

They thrive in temperate and tropical waters.

Even though their sting is mild it is best to avoid them.
