SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — For the first time in two years, the Santa Barbara Executive Round Table hosted a meeting to discuss the financial risks and opportunities facing the new year.

Attendees of the meeting, which was hosted at University Club in Santa Barbara, heard from multiple guest speakers and experts with unique insights on the trajectory of California and the Tri-Counties' "economic status and possible solutions."

Organizers say SABER's Annual Economic Forecast seeks to answer the question: "how will the economy move forward in this quasi-pandemic world?"

Guests speakers included:

  • Brian Johnson, General Manager, Radius Group: Brian Johnson has been a commercial real estate agent serving the Central Coast since 2002. Brian specializes in assisting investors in the targeted buying and selling of these properties while helping his clients.
  • Renee Grubb, Real Estate: Renee is the founder and owner of Village Properties which is celebrating its 25th anniversary. Former president of the Santa Barbara Board of Realtors, Renee leads only experienced full-time agents and real estate specialists in the area.
  • Chris Snowden, Wealth partner advisor at Channel Wealth: specializes in working with clients who are in transition such as career changes, business succession or retirement.
