BUELLTON, Calif. - A popular drive-up coffee shop in Buellton was burglarized. The discovery was made early Monday morning.

At around 5:20 a.m., an employee of the Coffee Cabin contacted police after finding the door to the business unlocked and a deposit bag missing.

The business holds the cash in a deposit bag on the property before it is taken to the bank.

The owner of Coffee Cabin told our newsroom that the security cameras inside had not been working since Christmas due to a change in internet settings. A discovery that was not made until after the burglary.

The owner of the coffee shop says a hide-a-key is also missing. She says police are fingerprinting the area where the key is kept.

The coffee shop is located at 264 East Highway 246 in the O'Reily's parking lot in Buellton.

Anyone with information about the burglary should contact the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office or Jen, the owner, at 805-245-2612.
