Detectives said Colosi, of San Jose, attacked a court ordered supervisor in the parking lot of Zodo's Bowling Alley in Goleta during a supervised visit with her 12-year-old son.

Investigators believe Colosi, an orthopedic surgeon, was planning to take her child to Montana on a chartered flight.

Colosi was taken into custody in Montana, days after the attack.

Colosi is due in a Santa Barbara courtroom Monday, Dec. 23
