Surfers being rescued from waters off of Cayucos

CAYUCOS, Calif. (KEYT) – A pair of surfers are being rescued from the waters off of Cayucos Thursday.

According to the San Luis Obispo County Fire Department, one surfer has been safely returned to shore and the other is currently being brought back to dry land.

The response was staged near the intersection of 24th Street and Studio Drive shared the county-based emergency response agency.
