Skeletal remains found in Montecito hills will go through extensive examination
MONTECITO, Calif. - The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office says specialists will look at skeletal bones found recently in the Montecito hills.
They were discovered during a work project on private property near Mountain Drive. The location was not disclosed.
The bones are said to be very old and both forensics specialists with the sheriff's office and a Native American expert will do the examination.
The work project has been stopped for now.
