2.6 Magnitude earthquake reported northwest of Ventura

VENTURA, Calif - A small earthquake jolted a few people awake Wednesday morning near Ventura.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the preliminary 2.6 magnitude temblor stuck at 5:49 a.m. to the northwest of Ventura.

A call into the NewsChannel newsroom reported feeling it. The caller saying it was a quick jolt that shook her bed. There are no reports of damage or injury from this small earthquake.
