Power outage reported in Downtown Santa Barbara

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - More than 1,600 Southern California Edison customers lost power in and around downtown Santa Barbara Wednesday afternoon.

According to the SoCal Edison online outage map, the outage was first reported around 11:45 a.m.

As of 12:15 p.m., 1,618 customers lost power and Edison crews were working to determine the cause of the outage.

A full restoration of service was estimated to be complete by around 1:30 p.m.
