Motorcyclist gets trapped under truck in Nipomo, hospitalized with major injuries

NIPOMO, Calif. - Firefighters responded to a major injury crash in Nipomo Tuesday evening.

CAL FIRE SLO tweeted around 7 p.m. Tuesday saying a motorcycle ended up under a truck on the Tefft Street Bridge at the Highway 101 northbound on-ramp.

Firefighters said the motorcyclist was trapped under the vehicle.

Crews were able to extricate the motorcyclist, who suffered major injuries and was transported to the hospital.

Traffic was said to be backed up in the area.
