Kate Schwab leaves Santa Barbara Downtown Organization

Kate Schwab is no longer with the Santa Barbara Downtown Organization. Carrie Kelly, Executive Director of the Downtown Organization, sent out an email late Thursday afternoon explaining that Schwab had left the organization.

NewsChannel Three contacted Schwab by phone who confirmed the news. Schwab told us the decision to leave was mutual, but that she could not talk about the reasons why she left.

Schwab was the Marketing and Communications Director for the Downtown Organization for six and a half years, and she worked as a board member for 15 years.

She said downtown Santa Barbara is near and dear to her heart and always will be. Schwab said she is just excited about moving on to the next awesome thing.
