Emergency crews scurry to save potential victims after Pismo Beach landslide
There was quite a scare at Pismo Beach Friday afternoon when a landslide came down at Silver Shoals Beach.
A 30 by 40-foot section of the cliff came down. There was some concern that people were underneath because there was a beach umbrella, towels and food in the area.
Crews worked for over an hour to remove the soil but it turned out no one was trapped under the landslide.
Pismo Beach Public Works also assisted in this incident.
The scene has been cleared and police are working with Cal Fire to find the owners who left their stuff on the beach.
