Paso Robles stabbing sends teen to hospital
A stabbing at a Paso Robles Park Wednesday sent a teenager to the hospital with multiple stab wounds.
The 18-year old victim was attacked just before midnight on Wednesday on a path inside Centennial Park.
The attack occurred in a wooded area a few hundred feet from the dead end of Lana Street. The victim was able to make it to a friends house who drove him to the hospital. He was then transferred to a hospital in Santa Barbara, where the victim is facing non-life threatening injuries.
Neighbors who live nearby were shocked by the attack, but not surprised.
“Its a little disconcerting having something like that happen so close to home,” says Steve Headland, who lives close by. “There’s a few issues in the neighborhood, you know a couple residents who account for most of the problems, but not anything like that.”
The Paso Robles police department are calling this an active investigation as the suspect/suspects have not been caught. They are encouraging anyone with any information to contact them immediately.
