Caitlyn Jenner Speaks At Brunch Near RNC

Alternate 24 Congressional District delegate Gregory Gandrud snagged a ticket to see Caitlyn Jenner speak at the Big Tent Brunch.

The American Unity Fund hosted the event held at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland on Wednesday morning.

Grandrud, a former Carpinteria City Council member, said, “I was very fortunate to have breakfast with Caitlyn Jenner who is perhaps one of our Country’s most famous Republicans. She said that she is working to make sure that future generations don’t face the same discrimination that previous generations of LGBT and transgender Americans have faced.”

Jenner didn’t get to talk at the convention but if she could she said, “I would tell the Republicans, I would tell Donald, the whole crew that these are people that have been out there that have been marginalized for so many years, they are out there, I know in the voting its is a small voting community, but they are out there. We need to deal with it properly. We need to be open about it because it is about the kids the next generation coming up.”

“We have to provide a safe environment for them and that is by far the most important thing,” Jenner said.
