Residents Evacuated From Goleta Apartment Building
Santa Barbara County fire officials are investigating the cause of small fire at a Goleta apartment building Monday night.
The fire broke out at the complex on the 4800 block of San Gordiano near San Marcos High School.
Fire officials told NewsChannel 3 the small electrical fire started in a terrarium inside one of the apartments.
Some residents in nearby apartments were evacuated because of the smoke and as a precaution.
Fire officials on scene said one onlooker suffered smoke inhalation and was taken to Cottage Hospital.
